Oil in Pakistan is cheaper than in Dubai. We have given huge subsidy on oil to curb inflation.  Addressing the Ehsas Ration Program


 



 



 ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan has said that there has been a wave of inflation all over the world, adding that Pakistan is still a cheap country and oil in Pakistan is cheaper than Dubai.  But given a big subsidy, as soon as the tax increases, we will bring the oppressed class to the top. I promise, as soon as the tax increases, we will try to help the oppressed class.


 According to the details, while addressing the function of Ehsas Ration Program, he said that the aim of Ehsas Ration is to enable 20 million families to go to grocery stores and get subsidy on flour, ghee and pulses from this program.  The project is, every family in Pakistan except Sindh will get a health card by the end of this month, this card can run in any hospital, before the poor family no one could think that they can get treatment in a private hospital,  The doctor called me and told me that for the first time a heart transplant has been done on a health card. Even the richest countries do not get free health insurance but the purpose of giving a health card is to make our country a welfare state in the style of Madinah.

 The Prime Minister said that inflation is a wave of inflation not only in Pakistan but all over the world but Pakistan is still the cheapest country in the world.  The cheapest oil in the whole subcontinent is in Pakistan. We made it cheaper because everything is more expensive because oil is more expensive.  Record tax has been collected, if there was no tax, we could not give discounts on electricity, petrol and diesel, so as the tax increases, we will try to bring the lower class up.
