PM Imran Khan to announce package for industrialists today


 



 The Prime Minister will make another big announcement today after the reduction in petrol prices


 LAHORE: Special Assistant to Chief Minister Punjab for Information Hassan Khawar has said that Prime Minister Imran Khan will announce a package for industrialists today.  He said in a media briefing that the Prime Minister would announce a package for the industrialists today. By reducing petrol prices, the Prime Minister proved that he is with the people no matter what the circumstances.


 The Prime Minister rightly said that where the Prime Minister spends his time in justice, what will happen to the common man.  He further said that it was decided in the cabinet meeting to set up a facilitation market authority which would be chaired by the Chief Minister.

 It should be noted that on Monday, Prime Minister Imran Khan addressed the nation.  In a speech broadcast on national media, the Prime Minister announced a special package for the nation.  The Prime Minister said that I want to tell the nation that I know these are difficult situations, sometimes Pulwama, sometimes Korona and now Ukraine.  The government gives a subsidy of Rs 70 billion every month. If we do not give subsidy, the price of petrol will go up to Rs 220.


 Even today petrol and diesel in Pakistan is cheaper than 25 countries in the world. In India, petrol costs Rs 260 per liter.  Opposition says petrol has become more expensive. If they have a solution, let them know.  The Prime Minister announced that it has been decided to reduce the price of petrol and diesel by Rs. 10 and electricity by Rs. 5 per unit.  Prices of petroleum products and electricity will not increase till the next budget.


 The Prime Minister said that under the Ehsas program, instead of Rs.  Unemployed graduates will get scholarships, during internships they will get Rs 30,000 per month, they are spending Rs 38 billion on 2.6 million scholarships, all scholarships are being given on merit.  On the IT sector, 100% tax was waived on foreign exchange.  The Prime Minister announced that youth and farmers would get interest free loans.


 I will announce the industrial package in Lahore tomorrow. Whoever invests in the industry will not be asked about the income.  He said that cheap loans would be provided for building houses.  Earlier banks did not give loans to small class, they have made it easier for banks to take loans, they have given loans of Rs 50 billion for houses, small class will get loans of Rs 407 billion in 2 years.
