 The no-confidence motion may be delayed



 Lahore Latest Newspaper. March 03, 2022): PML-N leader and former Punjab Minister Rana Sanaullah said that the no-confidence motion may be delayed but when it comes, it will be successful.  Speaking on a program on private TV channel Geo News, PML-N leader Rana Sanaullah claimed that the government currently has a total majority of 7 votes.


 He said that the opposition was making serious efforts to bring a no-confidence motion.  Rana Sanaullah said that PML-Q leader Tahir Basharat Cheema had said that the no-confidence motion was not discussed in the meeting with Prime Minister Imran Khan.  He also said that the allies are coming to meet us themselves, we have also had several meetings with BAP and MQM.

 On the other hand, the opposition has drafted a no-confidence motion, which has the signatures of more than 80 opposition members.  The draft no-confidence motion states that the country is in a state of economic crisis.  There is no road map to get the country out of the economic crisis.  According to the proposed draft, there is political instability and uncertainty in the country, foreign policy has completely failed.


 The proposed draft also states that the Leader of the House has lost the confidence of the majority of this House.  Not only this, the opposition has also prepared a requisition to convene a meeting of the assembly. The chamber of opposition leader Shahbaz Sharif has been alerted in this regard. Opposition sources said that  Time can be submitted. It is worth mentioning here that the opposition is likely to file a recusal today to convene a meeting of the National Assembly on the issue of no-confidence motion against Prime Minister Imran Khan.
