Opposition ends deadlock over no-confidence motion against PM

ISLAMABAD: Nawaz Sharif has given green signal to Asif Ali Zardari, Maulana Fazlur Rehman and Shahbaz Sharif on the issue of no-confidence motion against Prime Minister Imran Khan.  The deadlock in the opposition over the issue of anti-no-confidence motion ended.

The PDM persuaded the PPP to hold immediate elections. Earlier, the issue of no-confidence motion had slowed down due to deadlock. The PPP was adamant on completing the constitutional term instead of holding immediate elections.  PML-N leader and former prime minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi said that the no-confidence motion would take place without PML-Q, MQM and other allies.

The PML-Q has its own decisions, they have nothing to do with distrust. Our numbers on distrust are complete even without allies.  Shahid Khaqan Abbasi said that all parties including PPP are united today on the no-confidence motion. Those who have contact with us on the no-confidence motion are confident.  Explaining the statement of Maulana Fazlur Rehman to bring no-confidence motion in 48 hours, he said that Maulana Fazlur Rehman has said that recusal will go away in 48 hours.

Relocation will be submitted to the no-confidence motion related to the meeting.  Muhammad Zubair's talk about forming a government after Imran Khan's departure will be better known to him. In my opinion, a government should not be formed after Imran Khan's departure.  The government has failed. Let those who have experience in dealing with difficult times come. In a hurry, the people have to bear the brunt of the relief package.
