Millions of heroin worth from passenger found at Islamabad airport
ISLAMABAD: Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) and Airport Security Force (ASF) in a successful joint operation at Islamabad International Airport arrested a drug smuggler. ۔ According to details, 1,850 kg of heroin was recovered from a passenger named Adil Khan, a resident of Kohat, who was on his way to Riyadh from Islamabad via PIA flight number PK9753.
Adil Khan, a passenger on a PIA flight to Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia, was scanned for luggage, officials said. According to the ANF, the recovered heroin was skillfully hidden inside the cutting board. The accused was taken into custody during the scanning process.

A case has been registered against the accused under the Anti-Narcotics Act and further investigation is underway.
It may be recalled that last month, a major operation at the international airport in the federal capital Islamabad also foiled a heroin smuggling attempt. The Anti-Narcotics Force, acting on a tip-off, raided Islamabad Airport, thwarting an attempt to smuggle heroin in gloves. A spokesman for the ANF said that a large quantity of heroin was recovered from a cargo containing garments, crockery and gloves, which the ANF had received a tip-off that the cargo had been booked for the UK by a Karachi-based company. Gaya, in which 20 kg of heroin was skillfully hidden in gloves.
