The accountability court acquitted Brigadier (retd) Asad Munir in the light of the new ordinance Magistrate 2021. Asad Munir committed suicide in order to avoid possible arrest and humiliation in this case.

ISLAMABAD: Brigadier (retd) Asad Munir was acquitted three years after his death in Islamabad on Friday. Had committed suicide to escape. In this regard, the report of Jang newspaper has claimed that Brigadier (retd) Asad Munir got justice three years after his death and the accountability court acquitted him in the light of new ordinance Magriya 2021.
Accountability court judge Muhammad Azam Khan delivered the verdict in the case on Tuesday. In the same case, another accused Hussain's lawyer Imran Shafiq said that the esteemed court judge Muhammad Azam Khan spoke on his request for acquittal of Muhammad Hussain. While saying that this is not a case of NAB, send it to another place.

He further said that CDA and other agencies have also investigated in this case but no one was able to find any evidence of any benefit against any accused including Brigadier (retd) Asad Munir.
Brigadier (retd) Asad Munir committed suicide by hanging himself from the ceiling of his flat room in Diplomatic Enclave on March 16 in protest against NAB's behavior. In his last letter, he expressed regret over NAB's behavior It should be noted that Brigadier (retd) Asad Munir had committed suicide by hanging himself from a fan on the night of March 14. Family sources had claimed that Asad Munir was disturbed by the interrogation of Yab. According to family sources, Asad Munir was very upset over the media reports. A day before the suicide, the NAB executive board meeting had approved to file a reference against Asad Munir.
Later, the Supreme Court received a letter from Brigadier (retd) Asad Munir criticizing the conduct of the NAB. The Chief Justice of Pakistan took notice and sought a reply from the Chairman NAB.
