March 9, 2022) Pakistan Blind Cricket Team's explosive opening batsman Muhammad Akram on Tuesday said goodbye to international cricket after the end of the home T20I series against South Africa. Muhammad Akram, who played his last international match against South Africa at Iqbal Stadium in Faisalabad yesterday, has decided to end his illustrious career.
The top-order batsman scored 51 off 24 balls in his last international game and played a key role in defeating the home side by 163 runs.

Muhammad Akram holds the record for the highest individual score (266) in Blind T20 International cricket. He did this feat against the West Indies in the 2017 World Cup. Before the start of the third T20, players from South Africa and Pakistan also presented a guard of honor to Akram.
