Regular Public Transport License has been issued by the Department of Air Transport. The federal cabinet had approved the licensing of Quiverways, after which the airline was issued a two-year license. The license will be valid from February 1, 2022 to January 2024. After two years, the license will be extended.

On the other hand, the national airline PIA pensioners have been given the good news of increasing the pension after a long time. According to ARY News, the management of the national airline PIA has issued orders to increase the pension of the pensioners by 10% after a long time.
Under which the 10% increase in pension will be paid as per the salary issued in December 2021, the increase in pension for retired employees and their families will be applicable from 1st January 2022. It was informed that the 62nd meeting of the Board of Directors of PIA has approved the increase in pension. It may be recalled that earlier the salaries of PIA employees were increased on December 14, 2021.
According to the notification issued by the Chief Human Resource Officer, the pay hike has been in effect since November 1, but will not apply to contract employees. Employees who have been on unpaid leave for more than 4 months will not have their pay increase.
